It's no surprise to those that know me that I have a tremendous love for owls (so much so that I have a little one with me at all times). We have many members here in this wonderful group that share the same sentiment. I might just have to do a series from time to time but until then, I wanted to highlight the owl brooches of Jenny McCabe (Yarn Soup). let there be wolves!

I have always been a lover of wolves. Wolves were one of my first favorite animals (ever) and of course, I still love them now.

Nicole Licht of Astulabee recently worked on a new wonderful softie which is of course, a wolf.

She truly creates beautifully complicate and unique items. Each softie is individually considered and created with lots of hand stitching and special details. She utilizes carefully selected materials and each piece is sturdy enough to be shared as a keepsake, a heirloom toy or a softie sculpture. Here are some of them from her shop:
